The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State has stepped up preparations for the 2027 general elections with the distribution of 323 motorcycles to ward chairmen across the state to strengthen grassroots mobilisation.
The motorcycles were presented on Saturday during a grassroots empowerment programme spearheaded by the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate.
Addressing party supporters, Pate urged members to remain united and focused, stressing that internal cohesion would be vital to the APC’s electoral success in 2027.
He described the distribution as the first phase of a broader empowerment initiative, assuring party faithful that additional support programmes would be rolled out in due course.
According to him, the motorcycles will enhance ward-level coordination, improve mobilisation efforts and support campaigns aimed at securing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the election of Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar as Bauchi State governor.
APC State Chairman, Muhammad Hassan Tilde, commended Pate for the intervention, saying it reflected his commitment to building a stronger and more effective party structure across Bauchi State.
The party’s Public Relations Officer, Shehu Dauda Muhammad, said the gesture had boosted members’ morale and reinforced the APC’s determination to expand its grassroots support ahead of the next general elections.
