Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has predicted that her upcoming movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa, will generate ₦5 billion when it hits cinemas this December.
In a viral video alongside some cast members, Akindele expressed confidence that the film would achieve this milestone by the end of the year.
“We are making N5 billion this year,” she said.
If the movie achieves the projected figure, it will break the record set by another Funke Akindele’s film, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’, which became the first Nigerian movie to hit one billion naira.
