Peter Crouch, the ex-Tottenham Hotspur forward, has forecasted that Liverpool will emerge as the winners of the Premier League this season.
Crouch expresses confidence in Jurgen Klopp’s team, suggesting that they have the potential to clinch the title. He also acknowledges that Arsenal has strengthened their position in the title race.
This season’s Premier League title race appears to be contested among three main contenders: Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester City.
During an appearance on talkSPORT’s Hawksbee & Jacobs Show, the former England striker shared his views on the matter.
“I said Liverpool [would win the title] at the start of the season and I think plenty of people will say there is a bias there and they are probably slightly right.
“But Arsenal have played themselves back into the conversation for me.
“Manchester City will obviously be favourites given the recent history and you would say it’s a two-horse race, but Arsenal have just put themselves right back in the mix now.
“But I am going to stick with Liverpool. I still think they can do it.”
