Nominees for NPFL February Coach of the Month unveiled

Four top managers have made it to the shortlist for the Nigeria Premier Football League Coach of the Month award for February.

The quartet consists of Fidelis Ilechukwu (Rangers), Mangut Mbwas (Plateau United), Meremu Okara (Bayelsa United), and Paul Offor (Sporting Lagos).

Sporting Lagos, led by Offor, secured three victories and suffered one defeat during the month, showcasing the young tactician’s prowess in steering the club away from the relegation zone after a lackluster first half of the season.

Mbwas’ Plateau United exhibited an impressive performance by scoring seven goals in February, remaining unbeaten with two wins and a draw throughout the month.

Okara played a pivotal role in Bayelsa United’s resurgence, securing three consecutive wins and propelling the Prosperity Boys out of the relegation zone.

On the other hand, Ogunmodede’s Remo Stars managed to secure a point in the two games played during the month.

The announcement of the winner for the February award is scheduled for later next week.
