The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) results for Unity Schools. During a press briefing on Tuesday, Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu, announced the examination outcomes.
71,291 candidates registered for the 2024 NCEE, with 66,931 candidates sitting for the exam. Notably, 4,360 candidates were absent on the examination day.
Among the candidates who took the exam, one student achieved the highest possible score of 203 out of a maximum of 210. Conversely, 13 candidates received the lowest score of 1.
“This year, an unprecedented number of 52 candidates (2 candidates from Lagos State and 50 candidates from Rivers State) were involved in examination malpractice,” the Minister noted.
He also added that the admission process will be based on 60% merit as usual.
