The General Manager of Rivers United, Okey Kpalukwu, has given assurance that the team is committed to making Nigerians proud by securing qualification for the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Pride of Rivers is set to face Dreams FC of Ghana in the crucial final group game of the competition.
This decisive match is scheduled to take place at the Godswil Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Sunday (today).
Kpalukwu conveyed that every member of the club is working collectively to accomplish the established objective.
“Everyone at Rivers United is moving in the same direction and we desire to win convincingly against Dreams in Uyo to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians,” he told BSN sports.
“Rivers United carries the hopes of the nation and we are not unaware of the responsibility upon us.”
Rivers United must beat the visitors to secure a place on the quarter-finals.
