Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State extended his congratulations to Architect Audu Sule Katagum, the former deputy governor of the state, on his appointment as the new Wazirin Katagum. Following the turbaning ceremony held at the Katagum Emir’s palace, Governor Mohammed, represented by his deputy, Rt Hon Mohammed Auwal Jatau, commended Katagum for proving himself worthy of the prestigious title.
The governor expressed admiration for Audu Katagum’s dedicated service and loyalty to the state, citing his pivotal role as a former deputy governor. Throughout his tenure in that position, Katagum demonstrated unwavering commitment, working tirelessly to contribute to the success of their administration and improve the social and economic conditions of the state’s citizens.
“This event symbolises the recognition of his remarkable contributions to our beloved Bauchi State and his unwavering dedication towards the progress and prosperity of our great nation,” he said.
On his part, the Emir of Katagum, Alhaji Umar Farooq II, urged the new Wazirin Katagum, Architect Audu Katagum to live up to expectations by justifying the confidence reposed in him by the state government and the Katagum Emirate.
