Donald Trump has vowed to enact the largest deportation operation in American history if re-elected in 2024 and work with border states to stop the invasion of illegal immigrants.
Trump promises to arrest and deport millions of undocumented immigrants living in the United States. Among other measures, Trump would also resurrect his ban on the entry of people from certain Muslim-majority countries including Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen “or anywhere else that threatens our security”.
Trump is the leading contender for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, and he likely would face U.S. President Joe Biden in a rematch of their 2020 contest.
