Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, called on the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other pertinent agencies to promptly offer humanitarian assistance to the victims of the Ibadan explosion.

The explosion took place at a residence in Dejo Oyelese Close, Bodija Housing Estate in Ibadan, as reported by Iwitnesslive. The affected area falls under the jurisdiction of Ibadan North Local Government Area in Oyo South Senatorial District.
