Gov Sule, Ombugadu, Abdullahi Adamu arrive Supreme Court for Nasarawa guber legal battle

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, along with his predecessor and former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu, and the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Emmanuel Ombugadu, have arrived at the Supreme Court to observe the proceedings in the legal dispute over the state governorship seat.

Accompanied by a sizable entourage of supporters and well-wishers, the politicians entered the courtroom amidst heightened security provided by regular police officers and operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS).

The Supreme Court panel, led by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, is currently hearing the appeal filed by the PDP and its gubernatorial candidate challenging the decision of the Court of Appeal. The Court of Appeal, on November 23, reinstated Sule as the duly elected governor of the state.

Simultaneously, security personnel are working to manage the crowd of politicians who accompanied the governor and the gubernatorial candidate to the court premises.
