Mr. Ibu’s Adopted Daughter and Son Reportedly Arrested for Alleged Fraud in Handling N300 Million Donations
In a recent development, the Nigerian Police Force has reportedly arrested Mr. Ibu’s adopted daughter, Jasmine, and his son over allegations of fraud related to the management of N300 million in donations. The duo is said to have withdrawn the mentioned amount from the donations account designated for the actor, whose real name is John Okafor. The arrest took place at the Alagbon Police Command.
According to reports, the actor’s wife was allegedly planning to use the funds to purchase a new house, but the son and adopted daughter allegedly thwarted her plans. Tensions within Mr. Ibu’s family have escalated since the actor’s illness and the subsequent donations from well-wishers. Several months ago, he sought support from Nigerians for his health issues, resulting in significant contributions. Unfortunately, his leg had to be amputated to sustain his life.
