Sir Tersoo Kula, the Chief Press Secretary to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, has criticized the controversial Arise TV host Rufai Oseni for his recent behavior towards guests.
It’s worth noting that Rufai had a clash with Jesutega Onokpasa, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), during a show at the TV station on Monday.
Oseni, who was conducting the interview with Onokpasa, disagreed with the guest’s perspective on President Bola Tinubu’s removal of fuel subsidies and the overall economic situation in the country.
This incident prompted reactions from Nigerians, particularly supporters of the current administration, who accused Rufai of bias.
In response to this development, Kula, in a post on his official Facebook page, accused the presenter of disregarding journalistic ethics.
He wrote, “There is no need for a responsible citizen of this country to honour any programme on Arise TV that Rufai will be anchoring.
“He is sadly blind to ethics, lacks the basic manners, courtesy and principles of the profession”.
