Nigeria’s official foreign exchange market witnessed a slight marginal appreciation of the Naira on Tuesday.
As per data from FMDQ at the close of the business day, the Naira showed an increase of N177.68, trading at N815.32 per US dollar.
This gain occurred within a day following the Naira’s depreciation against the Dollar in the foreign exchange market on Monday.
In the parallel market, the Naira was exchanged at N1170 per US dollar on Tuesday, a slight improvement from N1200 per US dollar on Monday.
Notably, Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, had recently announced that the country is expecting an influx of $10 billion in foreign currency to address the forex crisis.
