Dr. Adefolalu Fumilola, a lecturer at the Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, tragically lost her life at her residence in the Gbaiko area of Bosso, Minna, Niger State.
Dr. Adefolalu, affiliated with the Department of Biochemistry within the School of Life Sciences at the university, was discovered lifeless in her home by members of her church.
Concerned about her absence at the church, where she served as a pastor, the church members visited her residence and were shocked to find her lifeless body in a pool of blood. She had suffered from stab wounds, and the knives used in the incident were found near her.
Professor Gbolahan Bolarin, the chairman of the Academic Staff Union of the University (ASUU) at FUT Minna, confirmed this tragic incident. Subsequently, law enforcement authorities took custody of the body and moved it to the mortuary.
