Pastor Ghandi Olaoye has been enthroned as the new Soun of Ogbomoso by the kingmakers, despite a High Court order issued on Thursday that restrained the government and kingmakers from proceeding with the installation.
Olaoye’s enthronement took place in the early hours of Friday, with a jubilant crowd of locals welcoming the new monarch to the palace.
It appears that the enthronement occurred before the court order could be served on the involved parties, allowing Olaoye to assume the position of Soun of Ogbomoso.
