The duo of Burna Boy and Davido will be making their debut at the awards, with their respective nominations for the Best Afrobeats category
Interestingly, Benin, Edo State-born hitmaker Rema, also bagged the most nominations among his Nigerian peers with three solid nods for Best Song, Best Afrobeats, and Best Collaboration, respectively, with his global banger dubbed, Calm Down
Ayra Starr follows with two nominations in her arsenal in the Best Afrobeats category.
