President Tinubu drops four names from ministerial nominees

Incoming report from Aso Rock revealed that President Bola Tinubu may have bowed to pressures from party chieftains to drop four unidentified names from ministerial lists, iwitbesslive.com can report.

iwitnesslive.com impeccable source revealed that the list is yet to reach the upper chamber of the house four days before the expiration of the 60-day provision for the President to submit names of ministerial nominees to the Senate for screening and confirmation.

It was reported that the lists would have been long submitted to Senate but for the few adjustments that saw four names replaced by the president.

Meanwhile, top All Progressive Congress (APC) stalwarts are against former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, who is said to be the President’s preferred candidate to replace Senator Abdullahi Adamu as national chairman of the party.

Although Ganduje was earlier considered for ministerial appointment until the resignation of Adamu which threw the party into confusion.

This is said to be generating crisis as some stalwarts of the APC have argued that the former governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Tanko Al-Makura, who is from the North-Central is highly preferred to Ganduje.
