A Nigerian married woman took to social media to express her distress after her mother-in-law provided her with a helper who, instead of offering assistance, required constant support and care.
The series of viral videos shared by the concerned wife sparked a debate among netizens regarding the appropriateness of the mother-in-law’s choice.
Through her social media posts, the married Nigerian woman shed light on her unexpected predicament.
Initially seeking her mother-in-law’s help in finding a young girl to assist with household tasks and childcare responsibilities, the woman had hoped to lighten her daily workload.
However, the reality turned out to be quite different.
Videos shared online depicted the young girl sleeping on the same bed as the woman’s baby, suggesting a level of dependency rather than helpfulness.
Expressing her dissatisfaction with the situation, the woman lamented that she unintentionally ended up providing assistance to the girl instead of receiving it, as initially intended.
