Nigerian chef Hilda denies charging N25K for Abuja meet-and-greet event, clarifies nature of engagement.
Hilda Baci, the acclaimed chef who earned recognition by setting the Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking marathon, completing an impressive 100 hours, took to her Twitter account on Friday to address the issue at hand.
An e-flier circulated on the internet claiming that Baci demanded N25,000 for personal meet-ups, live cooking, and food tasting in Abuja on June 24, 2023.
In response, she denied the report by stating, “Hello everyone, I want to clarify that I will not be conducting any meet and greet events in Abuja. Furthermore, I would never ask anyone to pay for such an opportunity. Thank you.”
