South Korea manager, Kim Eun-jung believes Nigeria’s one day off could be a major advantage over his team with no time to rest after their pulsating 3-2 win over Ecuador.
Speaking ahead of Sunday evening’s quarterfinal clash at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades, Santiago del Estero, Kim Eun-jung lamented that it was unfortunate that his players did not enjoy one day off like their African opponent, but assured that his players would rise to the occasion
South Korea defeated Ecudor on June 1, while Nigeria shocked host Argentina 2-0 on Wednesday to earn one extra day off and arrived at Santiago Del Estero to begin preparations in earnest.
“I don’t think there is a next time. We have to match everything against Nigeria.
“Nigeria had one more day off than we did, so I think we should focus on recovering as well” he told Monthly People,
