Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, are set to tie the knot on October 24, 2026, marking a major milestone in their relationship.
The singer announced the wedding date alongside an emotional message attributed to their son, who reflected on the love and togetherness he has witnessed between his parents.
The message offered a glimpse into the family’s bond, with the young boy expressing gratitude for the affection and support he receives from both parents.
“When I think about love, I think about my mummy and daddy. They have shown me that family means laughing together, supporting each other, and always feeling loved,” he said.
The announcement comes months after Zlatan and Davita first disclosed their plans to celebrate their union publicly.
In July, the couple reportedly revealed their wedding plans while travelling to the wedding of businessman Soso Soberekon. Davita also invited friends and colleagues to the anticipated celebration but did not disclose a specific date at the time.
Reports had previously linked the couple to a private civil wedding, while the upcoming October ceremony is expected to bring together family members, friends and other loved ones.
