The Edo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jarrett Tenebe, has stirred controversy after making a threatening remark while speaking about the party’s plan to secure 2.5 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tenebe reportedly warned that anyone who attempts to stand in the way of the party’s target should expect an AK-47 response.
“Anybody who refuses, who also wants to stand in our way from getting 2.5 million votes for President Tinubu… AK-47 fire!” he said.
The comment has attracted attention because of its reference to the use of a firearm in the context of electoral support for the president.
