The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has crashed the interest rate to 23 percent from the previous position of 26.5 percent.
CBN governor Mr Olayemi Cardoso confirmed the figure to journalists on Tuesday during 307 session of Monetary Policy Committee ( MPC).
Briefing the media on the outcomes of MPC meeting, CBN governor Mr Olayemi Cardoso attributed the development to policy reset.
