The African Democratic Congress (ADC) said it has recorded upsurge in its membership registration since the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released its statement derecognising the party’s leadership on April 1.
ADC National Publicity Secretary Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, in a statement on X on Sunday, disclosed that between 7:00 PM on April 1 when “@inecnigeria released its statement, and 5:00 PM today, over half a million (500,000) new Nigerians have joined the ADC.”
Abdullahi stated that over 40,000 people registered with the party between 7:00 PM of April 1 when the INEC statement came out, and 7:00 AM the following day.
This is an indication of the interest Nigerians have in the party.
