Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State have thrown their weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Caleb Mutfwang, endorsing them for re-election ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made in Mangu during a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting in Mangu, convened by the Caleb Mutfwang Ambassadors Team, led by Hon. Ibrahim Manset. Party leaders, elders and grassroots members at the gathering pledged renewed commitment to mobilising support for the APC in the forthcoming polls.
Speaking at the event, members of the Ambassadors Team said the recent alignment of Governor Mutfwang with the APC has ushered in a “new vista of unity and political cohesion” in the area.
According to them, the movement is driven by a clear mission to enlighten citizens and party faithful on what they described as the quality, inclusive and people-centred leadership being delivered by Governor Mutfwang.
One of the key advocates for the endorsement, Hon. Ibrahim Mangset, described the achievements of President Tinubu and Governor Mutfwang as “clear testimonies of purposeful and responsive leadership.”
He noted that the duo’s policies and programmes are already making tangible impacts on the lives of Nigerians at both national and state levels.
Mangset expressed confidence that a renewed mandate in 2027 would enable the President and the Plateau State governor to consolidate on ongoing reforms and developmental initiatives.
“If given the opportunity to continue, they will deepen the gains already recorded and deliver greater dividends of democracy to the people,” he said.
Also lending their voices, Col. Samuel Gulong (Rtd.) and former Majority Leader of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Bala Fwanhje, openly declared their support for the re-election bids of President Tinubu and Governor Mutfwang.
They urged party members to remain united and focused ahead of the 2027 elections, stressing that unity within the APC remains critical to electoral success.
