A Nigerian mother has stirred emotions online after sharing a heartbreaking video showing her 3-year-old daughter covered in painful bruises allegedly inflicted by a teacher.
The shocking incident reportedly happened at Emem Nursery and Primary School, located in Abakpa Nike, Enugu State. The viral video shows the visibly distressed mother crying uncontrollably as she filmed the little girl’s injuries.
In the clip, the toddler’s leg is seen covered with red marks and bruises, making it difficult for her to walk properly.
The mother, who could not hold back her tears, narrated how she got a call from the school, informing her that her daughter could no longer walk after being flogged by one of the teachers.
She rushed to the school immediately and was shocked to see her child in such a painful condition.
The angry mother, in the video, expressed her frustration and vowed that the teacher responsible must be held accountable. She also demanded that the teacher pay for her daughter’s medical care.
According to her, no parent should have to go through the pain of watching their innocent child suffer in such a manner.
