The Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Mr. Ossai Ovie Success, has alleged that regional bias influenced the outcome of the just-concluded Big Brother Naija Season 10, claiming that the first runner-up, Dede, was unfairly denied victory.
Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday, shortly after the winner was announced, Ossai expressed dissatisfaction with the results, insisting that Dede should have been crowned the true winner of the season.
“Dede was robbed by BBNaija organisers because Delta boy Kellyrae won last year’s season, so they didn’t want another Delta to win this year’s edition. She truly deserved the Big Brother Naija crown, not the second position. She ought to have been the winner, not because she’s from Delta, but because she made everyone who watched the show proud,” he wrote.
Ossai further disclosed plans to take legal action against the show’s organisers, alleging that the voting process was manipulated.
“I’ll be suing Big Brother Naija on behalf of Dede because the voting was rigged. I’m highly disappointed in this season,” he added.
The governor’s aide argued that Dede’s loss was a result of regional bias, suggesting that her Delta State origin worked against her chances of winning.
