The Benue State Police Command yesterday confirmed the rescue of six abducted Law students of Yola campus of the university.
The Command’s spokesperson, Udeme Edet in a statement in Makurdi said “the students who were abducted on the 26th of July 2025 while traveling from Anambra to Adamawa states have been safely released and united with their families”.
Udeme said, “please be informed that the police have successfully rescued six law students of Yola campus, who were abducted on the 26th of July 2025 while traveling from Anambra state to Adamawa state have been safely released and United with their families this morning, 1st August 2025”.
“They were abducted along Jootar/Wukari Federal Highway and were rescued along high tension road in Wukari, Taraba State”.
