The Arewa Elders and Youths Forum, has rose from a meeting in Kano calling on the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited, NNPC, Bashir Bayo Ojulari to ensure the completion of exploration of Kolmani oli drilling in Bauchi and Gombe States.
The Forum who though commended President Tinubu for indicating interest in continue of the Komani oil drilling which was abandoned said the position of the President Tinubu has seriously raises hopes and also show a clear testimony that he is not in anyway tribalistic.
Speaking in a released he Personally signed, the Chairman notes that by President Tinubu gesture he has moved the entire North to rally behind him and to mobilised patriotic people to rally around him to succeed so that the project will see the light of the day.
“We the people of North we are People of descent culture and religions, we appreciate any good gestures done to Us, with the President Tinubu position on Kolmani we have no reason whatsoever not to support his Government to succeed”, he added.
In the same vein, the Forum extended their full supports to the NNPC boss ,Mr.Ojulari and they are ready to gives him every maximum support to succeed.
They also strongly condemned mischief makers,who are hellbent in casting aspersions against the Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd, Bashir Bayo Ojulari that, “he is not a Northerner he should be rejected”.
He said for the avoidance of doubts, those castigating and blackmailing the NNPC boss as a non Northerner should know,is that Mr.Ojulari, is a bonafide Kwara born citizen ,which the state also belongs to the 19 northern states of the country
Alhaji Magaji also added that aside from been a Northerner , he merit the position he is appointed to serve adding that” the country needed capable hands that would contribute in the achievements of Renewed Hopes agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, therefore going by numerous achievement and past endeavors of Mr.Ojulari,he stand equally and befitting to deliver his assigned mandates.
“It is high time ,” We Nigerian-do away with sentiment, but should measure people appointed to position, based on their capability to deliver”.
We were ready to mobilize all the Northerners ,women ,youths ,even the politicians from the North, Governor’s and the traditional rulers to give him a maximum support under President Tinubu to deliver in the oil sector”.
