A Nigerian lady has reported a youth corps member to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after he allegedly claimed that SS3 girls are his “spec,” expressing concern that children are not safe with him.
The incident was detailed in a post currently making waves on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), where the lady urged NYSC to take action against the corps member over his controversial video.
In her words: “NYSC, you people will not see this person to call and threaten.”
She accompanied the post with a video showing the corps member making hand gestures which, according to her, suggest inappropriate interest in SS3 girls. She further stated, “Somebody needs to tell us the name of the school this guy is teaching in, because obviously, with someone like this, children are not safe.”
Following her claims, the lady played another video in which the corps member attempted to defend himself and clarify the meaning behind his gestures.
However, she dismissed his explanation, insisting that he was trying to manipulate the narrative and deceive the public.
As the video circulated online, it sparked a wave of reactions, with many concerned users flooding the comment section to share their thoughts on the issue.
