At least 47 persons have been confirmed killed in fresh attacks on Sunday night in Zike and Kimakpa communities in Kwall District of Bassa Local Government Area, Plateau State.
The National Secretary of the Irigwe Development Association, Mr. Danjuma Dickson Auta, confirmed this to New Telegraph in Jos on Monday, stating that the attacks occurred around 8:00 pm, resulting in 47 deaths and many injuries.
Just last week, over 60 people were killed in Bokkos Local Government Area of the State.
The Plateau State government has raised concerns about alleged occupations of communities by armed groups, contributing to heightened tensions in the state.
