A 14-year-old house help, Dorcas Adebisi, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her employer, Modupe Lawson, to death following a heated argument at their residence in the Oworonshoki area of Lagos.
The tragic incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on April 9, 2025, and was reported by the deceased’s brother, Abayomi Samuel Aina, approximately one hour later, at 5:00 p.m.
According to the police, officers were dispatched to No. 13 Ayoola Street, Oworonshoki, where they found Lawson’s lifeless body in a pool of blood. The deceased’s body was subsequently removed and transported to the Mainland General Hospital Morgue in Yaba for an autopsy.
The teenage suspect, Dorcas Adebisi, has been taken into police custody, where she is being questioned. The police have assured that a thorough investigation is ongoing to determine the full details of the incident.
Authorities have yet to release additional information on the nature of the argument between the house help and her employer.
