A bill proposing a single six-year tenure for the President and Governors has been rejected by the House of Representatives.
Sponsored by Ikenga Ugochinyere and others, the bill was debated on Thursday before being turned down by the lawmakers.
The proposed constitutional amendment also aimed to adjust the tenure of lawmakers but failed to gain approval.
