In Florida, 20-year-old first-time voter Davianna Porter shared with CNN that she supports Donald Trump, explaining that she aligns more with what he represents.
Although Porter, who is Puerto Rican, expressed discomfort with some of Trump’s comments about Puerto Rico at his Madison Square Garden rally, she noted that her support stems from agreement with his broader values and policies.
“everyone has opinions like, you know, if they don’t like Puerto Ricans, it hurts of course, but at the end of the day, I’m okay with who I am.”
“And at the end of the day, I want to be able to have a better life in the future,” Porter said.
