Nollywood actor David Ogbeni has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment by Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori.
The appointment was confirmed in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu. Speaking with our correspondent on Monday in Asaba, the state capital, Ogbeni expressed his gratitude to the governor for the opportunity to serve, thanking him for deeming him worthy of the position as one of his political aides.
He said, “I want to thank our governor, His Excellency, Sheriff Oborevwori, for finding me worthy to serve and assure him. I will bring my health of experience to bear.”
He, however, promised to serve in the interest of the people, noting that his appointment would serve as a synergy between the state government and the creatives in Delta State.
