Critic Daniel Regha has called out singer Wizkid for attempting to gain attention by dissing his colleague Davido.
Recently, the “Essence” crooner took to his X page to make scathing remarks about Davido, suggesting that the singer lacks talent and referring to him as “Frogido.” This verbal attack sparked mixed reactions among netizens, many of whom criticized Wizkid in the comments section.
Regha expressed the opinion that Wizkid is seeking the spotlight and drawing attention to himself by consistently throwing shade at Davido. He further stated that someone truly great has no need to flaunt their achievements publicly to feel accomplished.
He wrote “The fact that u can’t promote ur music or stay in the limelight without intentionally disrespecting ur colleagues, shows u need others to remain in the spotlight. Someone who’s big doesn’t need to remind the public of their status & accomplishments.”
