Band ‘A’ feeders rises to 179 with addition of 23 new feeders – Ikeja Electric

The Ikeja Electric (IE) has announced that the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) has approved the Multi-Year Tariff Order (MYTO) feeder upgrade for 23 additional Band ‘A’ feeders, for the distribution company.

Head of Corporate Communication, IE, Kingsley Okotie, in a statement also said the  DisCo now has a total 179 f Band ‘A’ feeders across its network.

He explained that the approval of the additional 23 feeders, including 6 newly upgraded to Band ‘A,’ followed NERC’s thorough review of the DisCo’s ability to deliver 20 hours of electricity supply daily.
