Nollywood star Funke Akindele recently responded to a critical comment on social media suggesting that she should stop appearing in her own movies.
This response came after Akindele posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) promoting her upcoming film, *Everybody Loves Jenifa*, which is set to be released in December.
The critic, using the handle @Godbles82, suggested that Akindele might find greater success if she concentrated solely on producing rather than acting in her films.
The comment read: “Maybe you could do better by producing a movie one day without being part of the cast.”
Akindele swiftly addressed the critique, she wrote:
“Maybe you could do better logging out of this app.”
