Ahmed Ali Ahmed, the Commissioner for Finance in Borno State, has reportedly passed away. DailyTrust reports that the circumstances surrounding his death are still unclear.
Sources close to the incident have indicated that the commissioner was found deceased in his room on Monday morning.
An anonymous source commented, ”Oga is no more, he died early this morning.”
It was noted that the commissioner was unusually late in emerging from his room, prompting a forced entry, which revealed his body.
