Controversial critic Daniel Regha has taken to social media to criticize Peter Obi for his recent visit to Paul Okoye and his brother Jude.
According to Gistreel, Peter Okoye, one half of the P-Square duo, had written an open letter to his twin brother Paul, addressing accusations Paul made about Peter involving the EFCC and claiming he had written most of their songs. Following this, Peter Obi visited Paul and Jude Okoye at their home.
Regha condemned the visit, accusing the politician of misplacing his priorities by choosing to engage in this public visit while there are more pressing issues facing the country.
He criticized Obi for making the visit a public spectacle rather than focusing on urgent national concerns.
His words: “So Peter Obi couldn’t talk to the Okoye brothers over the phone? He had to pay ’em a visit & do it in front of a camera. Making out time for P-Square’s clout chasing drama when there are more pressing issues to be addressed (as an opposition) is a misplaced priority.”
