Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has voiced her concern about the nation’s economic challenges on her Instagram page. She highlighted the surge in petrol prices to N1000 per liter and the rising cost of foodstuffs.
Lizzy Gold questioned how citizens are coping with these escalating expenses amid widespread hunger, increasing deaths, and a rise in kidnappings.
In her plea to the President, she called for urgent action to address these pressing issues, underscoring the high expectations citizens have from their government.
She stated,: “The price of new petrol pump is now N1000 for a litre. Foodstuffs in the market is extremely expensive. How do we survive this? People are hungry. People are dying. Insecurity everywhere. Kidnapping is on the rise.
President do something. You are the government we look up to.
President do something @officialasiwajubat”.
