AFCON 2025 Qualifiers: Super Eagles to Host Benin Republic in Opening Match

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the fixtures for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

We reported that the Super Eagles will start the qualifying campaign with a home game against neighbours Benin Republic.

The Cheetahs are managed by former Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr.

The Super Eagles will then travel to Kigali for a matchday two encounter with the Amavubi of Rwanda.

The matchday one and matchday two matches will hold in September.

Nigeria will face the Mediterranean Knights of Libya in a double-header in October.

The Super Eagles will round up their qualifying campaign with an away fixture with Benin and a home clash against Rwanda in November.

The top two teams in the group will qualify for the AFCON 2025 finals, which will be hosted by Morocco.
