Nigerian R&B star Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems, recently shared insights into what it’s like to be in a romantic relationship with her during an episode of the ‘Is This Seat Taken’ podcast with actress Chinasa Anukam.
The Grammy-winning singer likened dating her to “stumbling upon a rare species of flower.” She described her personality as something that might not be immediately attractive from the outside but is beautiful on the inside.
However, Tems added a cautionary note, saying, “even the color inside has a stone in it.”
“Dating me is like stumbling upon a rare species of flower that looks black from the outside and when you open it, it has pink, purple but in the middle, there’s a stone,” she explained.
Tems is not publicly known to be in any romantic relationship.
In a recent interview with YouTuber, Korty EO, Tems claimed that most men don’t have any agenda in a relationship other than sex.
