Piers Morgan Mocks Manchester United's Choice to Keep Ten Hag in EPL Move

Piers Morgan, a British broadcaster, has derided Manchester United’s reported decision to retain Erik ten Hag as their manager.

Ten Hag faced considerable backlash after Manchester United’s underwhelming 2023-24 Premier League season, which saw them finish eighth and exit the UEFA Champions League at the group stage. Despite winning the FA Cup, speculation arose regarding his potential replacement.

However, esteemed journalist David Ornstein revealed on his social media account on June 12 that Manchester United’s end-of-season evaluation concluded with the choice to retain the 54-year-old Dutchman as manager. Ornstein further stated that Ten Hag would continue at Old Trafford and commence negotiations for a contract extension.

In response, Morgan appeared to mock this decision on his social media account, posting “Brilliant” accompanied by laughing and clapping emojis.
