Bayern Munich, six-time UEFA Champions League winners, are reportedly monitoring Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman for a potential summer transfer.
Lookman had an outstanding season with Atalanta, netting 17 goals and providing ten assists in 45 appearances for La Dea. His remarkable performance peaked during the UEFA Europa League final, where he scored a hat-trick to secure Atalanta’s victory over Bayer Leverkusen, catching the attention of clubs across Europe.
Despite rumors of a possible exit from Atalanta amid Premier League interest, no concrete offers have materialized yet.
Transfer expert Florian Plettenberg has disclosed that Lookman’s name has surfaced in discussions at Bayern Munich. However, the Bundesliga giants have not yet made a formal approach for the forward.
Bayern Munich, looking to rebuild after a disappointing season under coach Thomas Tuchel, see Lookman as a viable option for their left-wing attack. Valued at around €40 million, Lookman presents an attractive acquisition for the German club.
