The Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has reassured depositors of Heritage Bank that there is no need for panic, as the corporation is already in the process of repaying them.
Bello Hassan, the Managing Director of NDIC, made this disclosure during a press briefing where he outlined the repayment processes.
He emphasized that the corporation would expedite the repayment, ensuring that customers are settled within one week, contrary to the 30-day stipulation by law.
