Singer Yemi Alade has shared details about her remarkable 14-year journey in the music industry, highlighting the setbacks, victories, and transformations she has experienced.
The multi-award-winning artist, renowned for her electrifying performances, revealed that her sustained relevance in the industry is due to her insights into her life’s path, resilience, and unwavering passion for music.
Yemi Alade made her musical debut in 2010 with her track “Fimile,” featuring Eldee The Don. Since then, she has built an incredible career.
“Officially, I have been in the industry for 14 years, counting from when I released my first song titled ‘Fimisile,’ featuring Eldee tha Don,” she said.
“I love music. It is actually the one thing that I am gifted at. I am deeply rooted and connected to music. It has chosen me as its messenger,” Yemi Alade said.
“The music industry has always been tough, even before I showed any interest in it. And, it will continue to be tough. However, it is said that ‘tough times never last but tough people do’. I believe that the strongest will always survive,” Yemi Alade added.
