The executive council of Jigawa State has approved the establishment of three new agencies.
Sagir Musa Ahmad, the Commissioner for Information, Youth Support, and Culture, made this announcement to reporters.
He revealed that this decision was made during a meeting of the state executive council chaired by Governor Umar Namadi.
According to Ahmad, the council’s decision came after the submission of Draft Bills on New Agencies, which will be forwarded to the State House Assembly for legislative approval.
The proposed agencies for which the bills were drafted include the Jigawa State Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency (JISITDEA), the Jigawa State Residents Identity Management Agency (JISRIMA), the Jigawa State Tsangaya Education Board (JISSEB), and the Jigawa State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board.
