Chido Martin Obi, the Arsenal young talent, delivered a stunning performance by scoring seven goals as the club’s U-18 team triumphed over Norwich City with a resounding 9-0 victory on Saturday.
The 16-year-old sensation showcased his prowess by finding the net five times in the first half alone, including two hat-tricks within a remarkable 17-minute span.
After the break, Martin Obi added two more goals to his tally, bringing his total to an impressive 24 goals in his last seven matches.
Although his most significant achievement of the season remains the astonishing ten-goal haul he secured during Arsenal U-16’s dominant 14-3 win against Liverpool in November.
Following this exceptional performance, Arsenal currently stands third in the U-18 Premier League South, trailing leaders Chelsea by seven points with a game in hand, while second-placed West Ham United also holds a slight advantage.
Notably, Martin Obi, born to a Nigerian father and a Danish mother, has represented both Denmark and England at international youth levels.
