Eid-ul-Fitr: Ali Ahmad Foundation greets Muslim faithful

The Ali Ahmad Foundation (TAAF) wishes to extend its felicitations to Muslim faithful worldwide on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2024.

The Non-governmental organization hopes that Muslims enjoy a joyous Eid celebration while remaining mindful of the core values of the occasion, including love, patriotism, selflessness, and forgiveness.

In a statement released on Tuesday by the Director of Media and Publicity for the Ali Ahmad Foundation, Mujeebat Adewole, the organization noted the importance of Zakat al-Fitr, one of the five pillars of Islam as a compulsory charity must be paid before Eid prayers.

“Eid-ul-Fitr is a significant holiday for Muslims worldwide. It marks the end of Ramadan, the Holy month of fasting. In accordance with tradition, Muslim faithful dress in their finest clothes, exchange greetings, and gifts on Eid, fostering a joyful and celebratory atmosphere during the holiday.

“This day is also a reminder of the importance of giving and sharing with others while remaining mindful of the core values of the occasion, including love, patriotism, selflessness, and forgiveness.”

The Foundation urges Muslims to remain steadfast on the path of purification, uphold Allah’s rope, and remember His favor upon the Ummah.

The organization wishes all Muslims the happiness, love, and prosperity of this pious day. Happy Eid-ul-Fitr.
